From Spec Building to Cutting-Edge Production Facility: Inside EA Sween


OverVIEW

AWB Engineers, led by President and Lead Structural Engineer Matt Smith, renovated the Allen Harim Foods poultry plant by designing a new galvanized steel roof structure built above the existing operational facility. AWB overcame challenges related to corrosion, spatial constraints, and maintaining 24/7 operations by using innovative construction sequencing and on-site coordination. The upgraded structure improves durability, ventilation, and USDA compliance, improving both safety and efficiency in a demanding processing environment.
